There will be plenty of time for me to beat him soundly once I’ve gotten what I came for.
Sent on a mission to retrieve an ancient hidden map—the key to a legendary treasure trove—seventeen-year-old pirate captain Alosa deliberately allows herself to be captured by her enemies, giving her the perfect opportunity to search their ship.
More than a match for the ruthless pirate crew, Alosa has only one thing standing between her and the map: her captor, the unexpectedly clever and unfairly attractive first mate, Riden. But not to worry, for Alosa has a few tricks up her sleeve, and no lone pirate can stop the Daughter of the Pirate King.

First impression :

 - The cover tells the story, I wont read it.
                                     - It looks childish and the graphic looks like a middle-grade story
                                     - The girl with red hair probably trying really hard to be a badass girl
                                     - Damn ! I just can't stand the horrible cover! It hurts my eye! Keep it away from me!

While reading :

'Let's see how's this going' turns to ' mmm..it's not that bad ' turns to ' omg, what happen next?! ' turns to ' no way! ' turns to ....( should i keep goin?)

First impression sucks!
Coz this is a damn good book. Really ! No matter how much our reading taste differ,  this book will hook any readers who yearn some kind of a badass chick pirate and hell yeah romance. ( Sorry, if thats not convincing enough but f it, go read this )

This chick is real.
She's not keeping im gonna keep my sailors alive  type of felling ya know! ( unless someone whom she really really really deeply care ) She rarely think of her action, she just did. Yeah she's a mad woman who send herself to get kidnap by the enemy to find this treasure map. BUT, she's a woman who hates dirty and stinky place, boys-smell-clothes, etc.

Riden.
Love the conversations between him and Alosa. Love the angst. They started with hate towards each other then start to learn and to care ....This is the hate-love relationship and I love this kind of romance ya know! If you love this kind of romance. This is a MUST for you.

The Magic comes a bit late.
You will learn about it lattterr. I just read this book knowing it has magic but im too into the story to the extent that i forgot to realize and wondering where is it? Yeah that's how enjoyable this book is but I found that the magic element should be introduce sooner although perhaps the author would like to create a suspense and plot-twist on the story.
